What we do: our approach and services
At Strategic Planning Co. we believe effective project controls are best kept simple. We focus our efforts on:
- Nailing the fundamentals
- Establishing data structures
- Enabling processes
- Communicating effectively
Thereby focusing on what’s really important. i.e. completing the project on time, under budget and managing change effectively.
Read on for planning concepts utilised by Strategic Planning Co.
Effective project controls
The interface and interaction between the three critical elements (Design Information, Project Delivery Strategy, and Contract/commercials) is absolutely critical to making better-informed decisions, the ability to take proactive actions before projects are impacted, and providing more confidence and control over project delivery through well-established process and effective communication. Setting this up right from the get-go is something we strongly believe in at Strategic Planning Co.
Leading to the importance of establishing good data structures via “Diamond Project Modelling”.
Diamond project modelling
Collating well-structured inter-relatable data on a project is the key to effective project controls.
Imagine setting up a mini–Google specific to your project. One search box, with all the answers you were looking for on your project at your beck and call? How much time and money would that save you?
The answer is simple, collate well-structured data. Because…
Here’s how we go about co-relating Time, Cost, Model/Design, and Organizational information at Strategic Planning Co. :
