Execution planning

We’re sure you value having the trust of your clients as much as we do. To earn and keep that trust means delivering on our promises.

Strategic Planning Co. believe it’s important to keep track of your programme on a weekly basis (fortnightly at a bare minimum) to understand if you’re tracking ahead of the contract programme commitments or not.

Understanding root causes of variance, and potential upcoming risks giving you the opportunity to alter your methodology or mobilize more resources if need be.

So how do we go about it?

  • We strongly believe in status updating the programme on a weekly basis.
  • Consistent and honest reporting is key.
  • Ensuring the right information is delivered to the right person at the right time, enabling data-driven decisions. Utilising the programme’s WBS structure to provide summary reporting or detail reporting so that energy on site is predominantly spent on the critical path.
  • We believe in establishing structure, utilising a weekly Programme control cycle. See diagram below.

Given the above process is well established we also help providing monthly programme updates/reports to the client and engineer to the contract in accordance with NZ 3910/NZ 3916.
