I have been working in the construction industry for 37 and have built a career around the resolution of complex construction disputes internationally. I attended King’s College in London to receive a MSc. Construction Law & Arbitration. In 2013 I founded CMC Asia Pacific (later, Concordia) and in a short time have developed it into a professional and well-respected organisation within the region.
My main mission is to make our industry a more collaborative, effective, efficient and much-improved place to do business. I have been focusing on how to improve contracts within NZ to allow for a more collaborative industry, with a focus on NZS3910, improving the role of Engineer to the contract and keeping construction companies out of liquidation.
Alongside dispute resolution services, I also provide several online and in-person training courses that aim to spread understanding around planning, resolution and contracts within the construction industry.
