I am an accomplished construction professional with almost 30 years’ experience in the industry initially as a quantity surveyor for a major multinational contractor, and thereafter in senior quantity surveying and commercial management positions.
In 2003, I specialised in contract law and combine my extensive practical experience with legal knowledge and qualifications to provide high quality, realistic and cost effective dispute resolution, commercial management and training services to a variety of clients to the whole of the construction supply chain.
That practical experience encompasses a wide range of market sectors, construction types and methods, covering disciplines such as quantity surveying, commercial management, project management, claim preparation and defence, contract drafting and vetting, adjudication, arbitration, mediation and litigation support.
I have been a director of a well established, multi-national construction contract and commercial consultancy and now run my own consultancy practice, Steven C Evans Ltd and am Director – Australia for CMC Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. For both companies, with a professional team, I provide construction, contract and dispute resolution advice and training to clients in the UK, Australia and internationally.
